Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of tenuo.ai, including the documentation, the Engineering Blog, the delegation lab, the Explorer, and the demo pages (together, the “Site”), provided by Tenuo, Inc. (“Tenuo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What these Terms cover

These Terms cover the Site only.

  • The open-source software. Tenuo’s libraries, SDKs, and tools published at github.com/tenuo-ai are licensed under the license included with each project, which for the core project is the Apache License 2.0. That license governs your use of the software, and nothing in these Terms limits the rights it gives you.
  • Tenuo Cloud. Our hosted control plane at cloud.tenuo.ai is governed by the Tenuo Cloud Terms of Service. Requesting a demo through the Site does not create an account or grant access to Tenuo Cloud.

2. Using the Site

You may read, share, and link to the Site. Code samples in the documentation and on the Engineering Blog may be used, copied, and modified in your own projects under the Apache License 2.0.

Other Site content, including text, illustrations, and design, belongs to Tenuo or its licensors. You may quote it with attribution, but you may not republish substantial portions of it as your own.

3. Trademarks

“Tenuo,” the Tenuo logo, and related marks are trademarks of Tenuo, Inc. The open-source license does not grant rights to use them. You may use the name “Tenuo” to refer accurately to the project, for example to say that your software works with Tenuo, but please do not use our marks in a way that suggests Tenuo endorses or sponsors you.

Other product names and logos on the Site, including those of the frameworks Tenuo integrates with, belong to their respective owners and are shown to identify those products.

4. Acceptable use

When using the Site, you will not:

  • Use it to violate any law or anyone else’s rights;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, or place an unreasonable load on it, for example through automated scraping at a rate that affects availability;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or the systems that host it;
  • Submit false information, or someone else’s information without their permission, through the newsletter or demo request forms.

We welcome security research. If you find a vulnerability in the Site or in Tenuo’s software, please report it to security@tenuo.ai rather than exploiting or disclosing it.

5. Newsletter and demo requests

If you subscribe to the Engineering Blog newsletter, we will send you new articles and occasional updates about Tenuo. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email. Submitting a demo request does not guarantee a meeting or access to Tenuo Cloud. How we handle what you submit is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Site links to other websites and uses third-party services, such as GitHub, Buttondown, and Formspree. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.

7. Documentation and examples

We work to keep the documentation accurate, but it is provided for general information. Examples are written to illustrate concepts and may need changes before they are suitable for production. You are responsible for evaluating whether Tenuo, and any configuration you build with it, meets your security requirements.

8. Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tenuo and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Tenuo’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

11. Changes

We may change the Site or these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when these Terms last changed. Continuing to use the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Tenuo about the Site.
